Vidyut Jammwal expands on future contributions of Kalaripayattu

Vidyut Jammwal donated Rs. 5 lakhs to Ekaveera Kalaripayattu Academy is a pledge to support and promote students for the rest of his life. The school strives to instruct children who are learning the ancient traditions of Kalaripayattu. A young student named Neelakandan from the school, took to his Twitter to thank Khuda Haafiz player. On his Twitter page, the young martial artist said, “Thank you very much and respectfully! Met @VidyutJammwal in Mumbai and has supported the Ekaveera Kalaripayattu academy with a huge donation of 5 lakh rupees. This will greatly help us achieve our dream of promoting Kalaripayattu throughout India.”

Jammwal thanked Neelakandan and his father for running the school. The actor gave her a T-shirt of ‘I Teach As Vidyut Jammwal’.

Vidyut Jammwal said, “India’s traditional (care and prevention) practices must be revived. Kalaripayattu is the best health culture in existence today. The essence of the hour is to bring this art to the world. From Kerala, to donate and support the Gurus of Kalaripayattu and Kalaris ( schools) on economics is only the first phase. I have big plans for Kalaripayattu and its traditional and modern healers soon. “
